Today we took the first tentative steps in what we hope is a long and interesting journey. I have just uploaded the first 'real' content to our new website, The MANGKU. You can see the entry by clicking here. It is a basic entry for the plant called 'majamulirra' in Iwaidja, known in English as the red-flowering currajong. The images were taken on the coast road from the airstrip on Croker Island to Adjamarduku Outstation, at a place called Artburrhij, which also happens to be the name for a yam type (Ipomoea abrupta).
